Modern Design Meets Multigenerational Living
This sleek, modern retreat sits just about an hour north of New York City—it was designed by Steve Marchetti of Studio Marchetti in NYC for a couple moving from Boston and Miami who wanted to be closer to family.
The couple wanted a modern aesthetic and John Lombardo from WindowRama’s Mt. Kisco, NY showroom suggested Windsor Pinnacle Select aluminum clad windows as the perfect solution.

The home features a double-height foyer and stunning book-matched stone wall. Just past that stone feature is the heart of the home: a soaring, glass-filled living room that reaches out into the garden. To the east, you’ll find the dining room, kitchen, and breakfast nook. To the west, there are bedrooms for one daughter and for guests. An open staircase leads up to a bridge connecting the two wings: the primary suite sits on the east end, while the other daughter’s family—spouse and grandkids included—has rooms on the west. The layout gives everyone their own space and plenty of acoustic privacy, which the homeowners love.
“The Windsor windows were exactly what we were looking for—they gave us thin sash profiles and a proud exterior surround that made the perfect stop for our stucco cladding. And all at a good price,” said Steve Marchetti.

The Pinnacle Select product line is constructed from enhanced components that provide unsurpassed performance and DP ratings ranging from 50 up to 70, some of the most impressive in the industry. Pinnacle Select windows are currently offered in casements (vented and fixed), picture, transom and awning. This line features a unique push-out style casement and awning, as well as a retractable screen option.
